Tally is proud of her autism, but her first year at Kingswood Academy brings new challenges as she tries to navigate being "normal" in sixth grade, especially when her best friend Layla begins to see her differently. As she conceals her true self, Tally begins to question the meaning of fitting in and what truly matters. Inspired by Libby Scott's own experiences with autism, this poignant middle-school story explores themes of friendship, family, and self-acceptance.
