Mother Land

In Cape Cod, Mother is widely regarded as a pious and diligent woman, but her family sees her differently, viewing her as a selfish and controlling figure. Her husband and seven children grapple with her overbearing nature and the lasting impact of her comparisons to a deceased child. Mother Land presents a portrayal of a family under the influence of parental narcissism, capturing the tension between outward appearances and internal struggles.
