A woman wakes in a prison pod with no memory, discovering that an ancient enemy, the Mareritt, now controls most of her world and its dragon allies, the drakkons. Forced to work with a distrustful warrior, she races against time to uncover her lost memories and the secrets they hold, which could either save or doom her people.
