Lieutenant Lord Ramage, commanding the Triton brig, is tasked with escorting a convoy from Barbados to Jamaica in what should be a routine voyage. However, the mission becomes more complex as Ramage must carefully protect a valuable cargo—an important family of French refugees—adding a layer of tension to the journey.
