Gulliver's Travels

Irish writer Jonathan Swift initially trained for the Church and supported himself as a private secretary before gaining recognition as a writer with the publication of Tale of a Tub. He worked as a political journalist in England for the Tories and later returned to Ireland, where he continued his church work and eventually published the renowned satirical adventure, Gulliver's Travels.
