In 1913 Africa, Justin Tolliver, a young police officer and aspiring justice seeker, chooses to leave his previous life behind and embrace farming with his wife Vera. As they navigate their new existence, they encounter brutal crimes and test their beliefs about justice and innocence. Together, they confront moral challenges that force them to reconsider their perceptions of fairness and injustice in a tumultuous world.
