Set against the stark, unforgiving landscape of the Australian Outback, this story follows Sanna, a Finnish graduate student researching gender equality while navigating the dangers of a rough mining community and hiding her pregnancy. As she forms a bond with fellow Finn Martti and begins a journey of self-discovery guided by a charismatic spiritual leader, she confronts profound challenges that test her search for peace and happiness in an environment full of hardship and mystery.
