The Last House on Earth

When college student Richard Johnson faces a series of unfortunate events, including losing his girlfriend and getting his bike stolen, he unexpectedly discovers that his peculiar next-door neighbor might be an alien. Teaming up with his land lady's bulldog, Khan, and his set theory teacher and her brother, they sneak into the neighbor's apartment and uncover a timegate to the future.
