The King's Conservatorium

Twelve-year-old Garlan and his mute brother Cadell escape from abusive guardians in search of a land where music and song are allowed, a stark contrast to their homeland where laws banish all forms of music. As they undertake a perilous journey to cross the kingdom’s border, they face relentless pursuit and numerous dangers, unsure if they will find their promised land or be separated forever.
