Prince of the City

Set during the American Revolution, "The Price of Power" follows Virginia aristocrat Vannevar Thomas as he transforms into a vampire and is drawn into the secretive world of the Camarilla. Sent to San Francisco in 1849, he quickly rises to power in the city’s undead community, but must navigate a web of enemies and internal treachery to maintain his crown. The story explores the challenges and dangers of wielding power in a nascent, vibrant city teeming with supernatural intrigue.
