After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Russia's new government privatized its industries by distributing vouchers to citizens, creating opportunities for wealth but also complexities and dangers. Texas entrepreneur John Mills and his Czech partner Petr Kovac travel across Russia, seeking to unlock the value of these vouchers, particularly those linked to the national oil company Gazneft.
