Re-roll

Set in a near-future world, this story explores a society where highly advanced humanoid robots called Mechs are available for purchase, each customizable with unique traits through a random "roll" process. Buyers have one free roll to determine their Mech's top three qualities, but if they’re not satisfied, they can re-roll for a fee. The narrative delves into the complexities and choices involved in creating these versatile companions.
