Bright Shiny Things

Private investigator and ex-soldier Lee Arnold is approached by his old army friend Abbas al'Barri, who believes he has received a message from his estranged son Fayyaad, last believed to be fighting with ISIL. Abbas seeks Lee’s help in making contact with Fayyaad, raising questions about his son’s potential change of heart. With assistance from his Muslim assistant Mumtaz, Lee embarks on a case that explores family, faith, and the reach of past conflicts.
