Kimi, having spent time on Earth with the Mongarian alien race that has taken over in humanity's absence, has grown close to Khan-Min, a compassionate Mongarian doctor who values her deeply. Her feelings are tested when Lee 5, her former cyborg lover, arrives on the planet with the intent to rescue her.
