"The Hawk’s Shadow" is a short story set in the world of Black Earth, following the journey of a tracker named Hawkwing and a former bandit called the White Demon as they attempt to outwit a secretive organization known as the Seroko. The narrative takes place between the events of Ravenstone and Black Earth, offering a glimpse into characters’ lives just prior to the main trilogy.
