Eddie Boka, a genetically enhanced prototype with reptilian DNA, faces a crisis when his cannibalistic urges threaten a secret project aimed at creating dino-human hybrids. Hired to help him control his compulsions, unorthodox therapist Adelaide "Addi" LaTour clashes with him through harsh methods, leading to a tense alliance that results in the successful public debut of the dino-humans. However, a deadly escape and personal complications set off a chain of events that jeopardize the entire venture.
