In a post-apocalyptic world overrun by monsters, humans are confined to military-controlled cities along the coasts, while the majority of the land, known as the Wastes, remains a lawless territory filled with danger. The story centers on Wyn the Soul Eater, a fearsome creature who appears every three years, leaving death in his wake. A young soldier, newly enlisted, finds himself inexplicably marked by this deadly being after surviving a harrowing encounter, prompting questions about the connection between them. "Soul Eater" is the first installment in the Monstrous series, blending elements of fantasy, romance, and graphic violence.
