Journalist Zoe Quint, grieving the loss of her family, returns to her homeland of Guyana and becomes intrigued by a nearby camp led by the charismatic Jim Jones, who claims to offer paradise. When she encounters a frightened follower named Lucy, Zoe is compelled to help, risking her safety to uncover the truth about the camp and its children.
