Inlands

Elin Willows’ debut novel, Inlands, follows a young woman who leaves Stockholm to start anew near the Arctic Circle, confronting the vast wilderness and unfamiliar customs. As she navigates her feelings of alienation and seeks her identity in this remote setting, the story explores themes of loss, change, community, and the complex balance between freedom and loneliness, set against the stark contrasts of the Swedish seasons.
