Paleontologist Grant Coleman embarks on a perilous rescue mission in China to find his missing mentor, Professor Maxwell Carson, whose notes suggest they are hunting for dinosaur fossils with a fantastical twist. Joined by a dubious team with hidden motives, Grant's journey takes him through remote landscapes and toward the possibility that legendary dragons may still exist in the mountains.
