Homicide detective Ricardo Pierce suspects a serial killer is responsible for many of the city's missing persons. As he investigates, he encounters two menacing entities lurking in the darkness, challenging his skills and resolve. While Pierce is suited to confront these threats, he also grapples with his own inner demons, raising questions about his ability to save the city without becoming a part of it himself.
