Set in the remote Utah Territory during the winter of 1888, this story follows Deborah Tyler as she awaits her husband's return and navigates a life of isolation and suspicion in a small Mormon community. When a desperate, hunted man seeking refuge arrives at her doorstep, it triggers a series of events that challenge her beliefs and test her morals.
