Heart of Iron

Set in turbulent fourteenth-century Scotland, this story follows Ross Kildare and his small army as they navigate the aftermath of battles and personal tragedy, including the seizing of his castle and the loss of loved ones. When Ross encounters Caitrin Lorne, the sole survivor of a horrific scene, he vows to protect her and seeks to reclaim his home from the English occupiers.
