Shadows on Our Skin

Set during the Troubles in Northern Ireland, this story follows young Joe Logan as he navigates a life marked by the violence outside and a troubled family home. Amidst the turmoil, Joe finds refuge in writing and a meaningful friendship with a local teacher, Kathleen Doherty. His world shifts when his brother Brendan returns from London, eager to join the local conflict, bringing the war directly into their lives.
