In a post-apocalyptic world where the dead walk and silence prevails, siblings Seth and Melinda journey south with a group led by the ruthless Noone Tompkins. Their trek toward a promised oasis in New Mexico is disrupted by a conflict between local citizens and survivors of the Crow Nation, leading to inevitable losses.
