Reconciling Reality

Blaine Sullivan's summer takes a challenging turn when he's uprooted from his familiar woods and placed with his uncle after his mother escapes an abusive and unstable environment. Facing initial hostility from his uncle, Blaine gradually finds moments of kindness and forms a meaningful bond with him, as well as a friendship with a neighbor. However, unforeseen events and a troubling diagnosis threaten to shatter his fragile sense of stability.
