In a dystopian future Manchester, a deadly new strain of pollen triggers an unprecedented hay fever epidemic, transforming the city into a battleground of vicious blooms. As the pollen count soars towards 2,000 and people succumb to lethal sneezing fits, only a small, immune population remains.
