Homesmind

Anra is a solitary born without the ability to mindspeak, a trait now remedied through implants provided by the skydwellers, who live aboard the Wanderer comet controlled by the Homesmind. As outcasts in two worlds—shunned by Earth’s people and considered soulless by the skydwellers—she and her fellow solitaries face a new threat when another comet enters the system, communicating with the Earth’s inhabitants in haunting voices and attempting to manipulate them. The story explores their struggle to unite and resist this malevolent force to protect both worlds.
