Misinterpretation

Set in present-day New York City, Ledia Xhoga’s debut novel, Misinterpretation, follows an Albanian interpreter who becomes involved in her clients’ struggles, leading her to confront her own buried memories and risky decisions. Her journey takes her from the city to Albania, challenging her perceptions of reality, family, and self-preservation.
