Murder at the Cabaret

In 1925 New York City, twenty-two-year-old Penny Fox inherits her father's cabaret club, The Primrose, amidst challenges from a local crime lord and a lawsuit from a client’s husband. By day, she operates as a private investigator, helping women escape abusive relationships, but her world turns darker when dancers from her club begin to disappear and turn up dead. As she navigates her growing feelings for an abused woman, Penny must leverage her detective skills to uncover the serial killer and protect her club before more lives are lost.
