The Mourning Bells

Violet Harper, a respected undertaker in Victorian London, is assigned to oversee coffins on the London Necropolis Railway, but her first trip is disrupted by a mysterious coffin bell signaling a possible wrongful burial. When she discovers a frightened man inside one of the coffins, her suspicions grow, especially after consulting Inspector Hurst, who dismisses her concerns. As Violet digs deeper, she uncovers a dangerous conspiracy, risking everything to uncover the truth behind the sinister events on the railway.
