The Bookseller's Tale

In Oxford of 1353, young bookseller Nicholas Elyot uncovers the suspicious death of a student, initially believed to be a drowning. As he and his scholar friend Jordain delve into the mystery, they discover William Farringdon was unknowingly entangled in a criminal conspiracy that spans the town, university, and abbey. Their investigation leads to dangerous situations, putting Nicholas's family at risk in an attempt to uncover the truth.
