Race for the Dying

In this engaging tale set in 1890, Dr. Thomas Parks travels to Puget Sound to practice trauma medicine but soon finds himself entangled in a dangerous situation after a mishap leaves him injured. As he recovers, he uncovers a medical scam involving a family friend, adding moral dilemmas to his recovery. The story becomes more complex with the romantic interest of the host’s daughter, Alvi, who is caught between love and truth.
