Aderyn and her friends embark on an eight-week journey across the continent, prepared for monsters, bandits, and unexpected quests. Their primary challenge becomes escorting a difficult and self-centered fledgling adventurer through the wilderness to Guerdon Deep. Despite Jessemia’s hostility and problematic behavior, Aderyn recognizes her potential as an adventurer, but conflicts arise as her actions threaten the team’s safety.
