Bringing In the Thieves

Frankie Lou McMasters returns to Ruby Springs, Texas, with her daughter after years away, stirring up old rivalries with her childhood enemy, Poppy Fremont, now a church choir director. When Frankie Lou proposes forming a youth choir with at-risk teens she mentors, Poppy reacts unfavorably, and soon afterward, she is found dead in the church's baptistery pool. As Frankie Lou seeks to clear her name, she begins to investigate the true culprit behind the suspicious death, while her mother arrives to step into her life.
