A Warning About Swans

In this enchanting fairytale set in 1880 Bavaria, Hilde, a swan maiden created by Odin, grapples with her unique gift of guiding dying souls to the Other Wood. Intrigued by the ambitions of the charming but controlling Baron Maximilian von Richter, she makes a pact to escape her duties in exchange for helping him achieve wealth. As Hilde navigates the opulence of King Ludwig II's court and becomes close to the empathetic artist Franz Mendelson, she faces conflicts between her desires and the increasingly oppressive circumstances around her. With her swan cloak mysteriously disappearing, Hilde must rely on Franz's artistic talent to reclaim her freedom.
