Over her prolific career, she crafted numerous innovative crime fiction elements, including series detectives, 'girl detectives,' and the use of newspaper clippings as clues, helping to shape the genre. Green’s contributions earned her widespread admiration, and she remains recognized as an influential figure in mystery literature. She passed away in 1935 at the age of 88.
