In June 1780 Philadelphia, unlikely spies Becca Parcell and Daniel Alloway return as a married couple to uncover traitors fueling counterfeit money amidst rising unrest and economic turmoil. As they navigate social circles and seek clues, their mission becomes perilous when a childhood acquaintance is implicated in a murder linked to their investigation.
