Tony Caruso is hired to go undercover for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to investigate a dangerous Asian smuggling ring targeting black bears and elk in Oregon. His mission takes him from the remote mountains to the urban landscapes of Portland and the mushroom fields of the Cascades, where he faces formidable gangs from San Francisco and Seattle. With his military training and loyal dog Panzer, Tony must navigate life-threatening encounters in the wilderness and confront brutal killers to protect wildlife and himself.
