Hester on the Run

Set in colonial America among an Amish settlement in eastern Pennsylvania, this story follows Hester, a Native infant found and adopted by Amish couple Hans and Kate Zug. Despite initial concerns from her Amish community, Hester grows into a captivating young woman, developing deep connections to both her Amish upbringing and her Native heritage. As she comes of age, Hester faces the profound choice of embracing her dual identity or forging her own path.
