The House of a Thousand Candles

Jack Glenarm, an adventurous spirit with a distaste for architecture, must settle into his grandfather's peculiar mansion, "The House of a Thousand Candles," for a year to claim his inheritance. Accompanied only by a valet and a chaplain from a nearby girls' school, Jack's solitude is abruptly interrupted by a gunshot, plunging him into a world of danger and intrigue.
