Points of Departure

In this young adult novel, Liza embarks on a highly anticipated overseas trip with three other girls after her friend Kit unexpectedly drops out. As each girl navigates her own challenges—Mai's party-focused mindset, Tam's worries about her sick father, and Olivia's exam-related despair—Liza seeks to rediscover herself in this unfamiliar dynamic. Ultimately, they learn that travel is as much about personal growth and relationships as it is about destinations.
