Hrolf the Viking

Hrolf the young Viking, having left Jarl Dragonheart's service, sails with Jarl Gunnar Thorfinnson and they establish a settlement off the Frankish coast, amassing great wealth. Their success draws the ire of other Vikings, leading to intense conflicts. The story builds toward a dramatic and violent confrontation among Vikings, as Hrolf begins to embrace his destiny as Hrolf the Horseman.
