Silent Court

In November 1583, Queen Elizabeth’s spymaster, Francis Walsingham, tasks Cambridge scholar Christopher Marlowe with aiding Dutch leader William the Silent amidst a backdrop of political intrigue and danger. Disguised as a member of a troupe of Egyptian players, Marlowe faces immediate challenges, including a detour that results in a tragic incident and an arrest for murder. As he navigates this perilous landscape, Marlowe is driven to uncover a killer with ties to his own circle, putting his skills and wits to the test.
