Brightly Burning

Lavan Chitward, a lonely and unhappy young man, discovers he possesses a dangerous and potent power known as the Gift of the Firestorm. As he is brought into the Heralds of Valdemar and finds a sense of belonging, he must learn to control his gift to protect his homeland from looming war and destruction.
