Eryk returns to his companions, Kari, Lin, and Fay, after a harrowing experience in the Demon Beast Mountain Range, where he encountered a mysterious woman named Dyr. Settling back into daily life, he focuses on training his friends, sharing alchemical knowledge, and aiding the Nevarian Spiritualists in fortifying defenses against an impending Demon Beast Invasion. However, he is haunted by dreams of his past self, trapped in another realm, where he uncovers more about the enigmatic Sekbeists who pose threats to both his past and present.
