The House of Dolls

Anneliese Vos, a sixteen-year-old girl, has been missing for three years, and her father, detective Pieter Vos, has been unable to find her. When a trainee detective, Laura Bakker, reports a similar disappearance of a local politician's daughter, Vos is prompted to return to his detective work. He hopes that this new case might hold the key to understanding his daughter’s fate.
