Twice Bitten

Lexi, a resilient girl who has endured a difficult childhood in foster homes and rough living conditions, is determined to take control of her future by finishing high school and attending college. Her plans are disrupted when she is placed with a new, unfamiliar foster family upstate, where she encounters a diverse group of peers, including the enigmatic Rafferty King and the twins Ranger and Maverick. Amidst new friendships and unexpected feelings, Lexi begins to uncover mysterious happenings in her new environment.
