Mischief

Imogen Waterstone, an independent young woman, seeks the help of Matthias Marshall, the infamous Earl of Colchester, to execute her daring plan to ensnare a thief targeting her late uncle's collection of antiquities. She hopes to trade on the rumor of a hidden treasure map, using Colchester's charm as bait to provoke the enemy into revealing himself. However, unexpected violent reactions from Colchester and a looming threat from London’s underbelly complicate her scheme, testing both her resolve and burgeoning feelings.
