Paving the New Road

Set in 1933, the story follows Eric Campbell, a man aiming to become Australia’s fascist leader, as he tours the continent seeking alliances. However, there are covert efforts by Australia’s Establishment to thwart his plans, leading to dangerous stakes when their representative in Munich is killed. Rowland Sinclair is dispatched to Germany to protect Australian democracy from the advancing threat of Fascism.
